Tonight we're talking with André Brun, author of Lies and Deception.

Hi André! Please tell us about your current project:

I am currently writing Lies and Deception. I would say it is a blend with The DaVinci Code and American Horror Story: Asylum.  I will be putting it through editing near June. Right now focusing on finishing my crowdfunding campaign, then all my energy will be on finishing Lies and Deception to deliver the best possible book in it's genre.

1.  Illuminae, by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff

This was my favorite book of 2015. The sci-fi story is a work of art. When a character walks through space, the text bounces across the page with them. Look at this battle scene!

The story will keep you guessing and gasping until the last page. Flip through the book at your local bookstore and TRY not to buy it. I dare you.

Children of the Forest (CotF) is a multi-part epic, set in a world blending Science-Fiction and Fantasy themes.


The story was partly inspired by the works of Hayao Miyazaki (of Studio Ghibli fame) and the writings of Frank Herbert (Dune) and Ursula Le Guin (The Last Unicorn).
